Michelle Kwan to Campaign for Hillary Clinton in Iowa

Kwan to Raise the Stakes for Women and Millennials; Will Encourage Iowans to Vote Now

Des Moines – This week, Michelle Kwan will campaign for Hillary Clinton across Iowa. Kwan will highlight Hillary Clinton’s record of fighting to expand equal opportunity for women and girls, as well as urge millennials to vote early for Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.

Kwan will lay out the stakes of the election, pointing to Clinton’s words in the final debate that, “It’s really up to all of us to demonstrate who we are and who our country is and to stand up and be very clear about what we expect from our next president, how we want to bring our country together, where we don’t want to have the kind of pitting of people one against the other, where instead we celebrate our diversity, we lift people up, and we make our country even greater. America is great because America is good.”

With more people voting in this election than any in history, Iowans can vote now either by mail or in person at their county auditor’s office. Iowans face a clear choice in this election between Clinton, who believes that we are stronger together – regardless of their gender, and Donald Trump, who has shown blatant disrespect towards women.

Trump’s ratings could very likely remove the road block on Immigration Reform, and force McConnell and Boehner to move on it before the national conventions.

The move for transparency in both Congress and Des Moines has been thrown out the window. Continue reading
